The 13th Man Board
13th Man Board Member
Fred Lott
Fred Lott is from Riverdale, Maryland. He is a proud graduate of Hampton University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Marketing. He is also an alumni of Southeastern University where he obtained master’s degrees in Public Health and Business Administration.

Although he got his spiritual foundation while attending Cornerstone Baptist Church in Temple Hills, MD under Rev. Harold King, he’s proud to have been a member of the unique bunch of believers at Cornerstone Peaceful Bible Baptist Church in Upper Marlboro, MD under the direction of Pastors Daniel and Sabrina Mangrum for 10 years. It was at this “Cornerstone” that he was licensed as a Gospel minister in 2003 and received a foundation in the ministry of deliverance and the power of purity and prayer.

Whether young or old, Pastor Fred has a passion for seeing the men of God on fire for the Lord. His dedication to the men has taken the form of mentoring young men, conducting the “Upper Room Brothers” Bible studies (with his longtime friend, Troy Carpenter), preaching at men’s retreats, and raising his own young man, Josiah. It has been said about Pastor Fred that men can appreciate his transparency and the gift of encouragement with which he’s been blessed. He’s often said, “When we get the men of God fired up and sold out for Jesus, the rest of the family will follow!”

Pastor Fred has been married to Ardener, the woman of his dreams, whom he affectionately calls “his rib,” since 1997. In those years, the Lord has blessed them with three energetic, endearing, and engaging children named Gabriella (The Lord is my strength) Ardena, Dominique (Belonging to God) Margueritta, Josiah (God has healed) Adonai, and Donalson Fanord. After moving to South Carolina late in 2007, Pastor Fred was led of the Lord to start worshiping with some friends at home. From those humble beginnings, God has grown Turning Points Ministries, Inc. and is continuing to do great things within and through “TPM.”

As he continues to serve the most high God in whatever capacity he is called, Pastor Fred intends to stand on one of his favorite verses of scripture found in Isaiah 40:31. But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
