and earning ability for a lifetime!
The 13th Man , DCA chapter has partnered with Total Tutoring Services www.totaltutoringservices.com to provide tutoring services to young men needing help in Reading/English, Math, Science, and Social Studies, SAT and ASVAB testing. We are excited about this partnership and the opportunity for 13th Man participants to benefit from FREE tutoring services every Saturday. Availability is provided on a first-come first-serve basis. We guarantee progress and provide techniques to make studying and learning easy. We also provide project and research paper assistance. We look forward to providing this free service for the betterment of our community.
The 13th Man members who have participated in our tutoring and learning services have seen improvement in studying habits, organizational skills, improvement of grades and increase in their SAT scores.
The 13th Man, CLT chapter has partnered with Cherie Stackhouse Graham to provide tutoring services to young men needing help in Reading/English, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Mrs. Graham was fortunate to teach in several capacities in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System for over 10 years. She taught grades Pre-K, second, third and fifth and also served as a mentor, literacy coach and a member of the School Leadership team. Her desire to serve the community and pour into the lives of young people has awarded her the opportunity to work and serve with various groups such as youth ministry leader at Turning Points Ministries, volunteer with Big Brothers, Big Sister’s Inc., Teens for Change Mentoring Program, Black Girls Rock (Charlotte Chapter), HisTERy Girl’s Group, and her most recent and much anticipated role as tutor and educational facilitator with the 13th Man Mentoring group, Charlotte NC chapter.
Mrs. Graham is honored to serve with the 13th Man organization as we continue to empower young men to be their best and is excited to see how God will manifest and help us to not only touch young men in the D.C. and Charlotte area, but beyond.
